Best Wishes for 2012
News date: 31st December 2011

Hello Everyone!

We will soon be into the New Year, so I wanted to wish you all the very best for 2012. All good health and happiness to you and your loved ones!

This Christmas and 2011 has been a particularly difficult year for me so I'm hoping that 2012 can only be better. Lets hope that my tea cup will change from being over half empty to being half full, and just a little more than half full would be wonderful!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you all for your wonderful support again this year, on the "I Give You My Sunshine" tours, for the Re-Joyce single and gigs, the Wall of Fame in Coventry. It was such a pleasure to meet so many of you wonderful people and to visit so many lovely venues and places. I look forward to the spring tour as I love singing and being on the road – even if it does mean dodgy gps directions and living out of my car! That's Life/C'est la vie or Celery as Sarah, Clare and I jokingly say!
Best wishes for 2012 with love from Hazel

I also wanted to let you know that my old Facebook page is closing down. If you are on the old one, you've probably thought I was being very quiet, but no way José, its all happening on the other side! Sorry if you’ve missed out on any news but Facebook restrictions on numbers meant I had to change. This is the new one Hazel O'Connor Facebook, so please do go to that page and 'Like' and then delete yourself from the old one. Thank you, see you on the other side!

2012 looks like it will be another busy and eventful year with lots of exciting things in the pipeline. Not jumping the gun, I will let you know all when things are confirmed in stone! In the meantime, I will be zipping down to the south of France for a couple of weeks to resource and for a bit of diy therapy and garden clearance. It's gonna be a jungle and a lot of toil but it's so satisfying!

Have a fantastic new year everyone,

I give you my sunshine!
Love from Hazel x

Last few days have been such a blast!

Kicked off the weekend doing a gig with Clare, Sarah and the fabulous Cambria Choir in aid of Myton Hospice and the Terrence Higgins Trust. Many, many thanks to our hosts Steve and Aimi of the Cambria for their wonderful hospitality and the choir for their beautiful harmonies.

I look forward so much to our show in Coventry this Saturday 10th December.

The Jazz Café was so much more than we expected. You rocked Jazz Café! Thanks to everyone that came to see us. We came away "Feelin SO good"!

And then yesterday unveiling of my wall of fame plaque in 2-Tone village along with Pauline Black and Lieutenant Pigeon. Thanks to Danny & Debbie Gerrard who kindly sponsored my plaque and everyone that voted for me. Such an honour.
