Hello Everyone!

2013 is almost upon us, so i wanted take this opportunity to wish you all a happy holiday season and wish you all health and happiness to you and your loved ones.

2012 has been such an eventful year with the tours, and with Breaking Glass coming out on DVD, and also with my biography Breaking Glass Barefoot being published. Thanks to you all for your support and encouragement.

I had a wonderfully inspiring night being part of the Voices from the Frontline show last week in Dublin. Martin Sheen is such a lovely person and fighter for human rights. He loved my song Strong, which made me feel so good as it would Gavin Barrett who was the co writer. It was great to see a lot of old pals like Brian Kennedy, Liam O'Maonlai (singer songwriter from the Hothouse Flowers) who, like Martin is very commited to human rights. Also made some new pals like Andrea Corr of The Corrs who is a wonderful person. We shared a dressing room along with a beautiful classical singer Caro O'Sullivan, when she sang the hairs stood up on my neck! Paul Brady sang a great harmony line on Strong at the finale besides doing a fine set. Infact every body working on that show, in front or behind the scenes, were amazing and inspiring. I hope I can be of service to the Frontline Defenders cause again and again! I also met the irish president Michael D Higgins. He complimented me on the song and sang the chorus back to me after the show. I then melted into the night, back home to my 3 dogs and into me jimjams and some very happy zzzzz's.

Ofcourse, with Christmas coming up i think of mum and the song Rejoyce that we all did in aid of Myton Hospices. Please do buy one if you can. They make a great alternative to a card and the proceeds, as you know, go to Myton, a charity very close to my heart. They can be delivered in time for Christmas from Amazon at this link

Early in the new year, Sarah, Clare and myself will be writing some new songs together. So if all goes well, end 2013, we will have a new CD for you. But in the meantime the new vid for Cinderella Moment is at last finished.
