Hello Everyone!

Just a few words from me in Ireland. Its great to be back home! I've been on the road so much this year, its such a pleasure to sleep in my own bed and stay in one place more than a few days! Also great to spend a bit of time with my dogs, and to see the garden coming alive again after what seems to have been a very long winter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the swifts that nested near my front door will be back again this year...

Sarah, Clare, and I had a fabulous time on the I Give You My Sunshine Tour 2012. It went extremely well and want to say a big thank you to all the lovely venues that hosted us and ofcourse to you all for coming along. The album is going well and getting some airplay which is great news. Our live sessions on the radios went down extremely well too. So all in all, a great success all round!

We only have two dates left on that tour. One of which is the "Vive le rock" fest which promises to be a lot of fun and it will be wonderful to see my mate Pauline Black who is also playing there with The Selecter. The Paris gig is now confirmed - so I better start polishing up my Franglais to make sure I don't do any impressions of Catherine Tate in her interpreter sketch! Last time we were there, I forgot the words to C'est la vie (or "Celery" as we now call it). I launched head long into a string of He-haw, he-haw, he-haws. I couldn't stop myself, the words just tripped out while i'm thinking how rude am i? Very embarrasing and surprising that we got invited back again!

Many of you may know this by now but October and November are shaping up to be busy too. We are doing the Greatest Hits including Breaking Glass Live! tour. Us three gals are teaming up with three lads for that. We played in that line up at Minehead a couple of weeks ago, great atmosphere and the whole place was rockin!

We chose all the songs that we thought we should do, but ended up with a set that lasted over four hours. We had a lot of trouble and heavy decisions to cut it down to an acceptable length. We kept some surprises in the set though. Very excited and so looking forward to touring that show for you all.
